About Paul

Paul Borrello has been playing music since the age of seven. He's studied music with Ed Saindon at Berklee School of Music, Jay Hoggard from Wesleyan and pianist Dan Dobek. He's received an Associates degree from Schenectady College and a Bachelors degree from St. Rose, and presently he's doing Graduate studies at St. Rose to obtain a New York State Teacher's Certificate and a Masters degree in jazz education. He plays professionally with many notable jazz players regionally including Peter Einhorn, John Savage and Bill Leary. He has also appeared with different classical groups such as the Capitol Philharmonic and Schenectady Symphony and recently performed at Skidmore College in Saratoga on vibraphone with French Horn player Patrice Maletestinic. He currently works with the LAB Trio, 10/27, John Savage Band, Wooly Mammoth and Night Train. He also teaches drums and mallets at Drome Sound Music Studios in Niskayuna.
